justgrowup.com  was started to spread information about green living. "We felt is was our duty to spread the information we've learned, in hopes that we can help others help themselves! This website was established not only share what we have learned, but push our own education to a new level. We are not experts by any means, however, we promise to do our research, provide accurate information, and let you know what works for us."

April and Brian are from Cleveland Ohio. They have two children, Ella (3 yrs), and Molly (4 Months). Both grew up in the Cleveland area, which is where they currently reside. Shortly after they got married, they decided evaluate their living to see what could be done better. They began simple: healthy eating, exercise, money saving, etc... "It was amazing how our small efforts made better living". 

The next big step was to build a home. They decided there were many things they could do to save money (building & energy efficient), starting with building green. "Our property is 5 acres in size. We also live close to an oil well, which is one of the reasons we feel a strong need to replenish the earth around us. Not only are we in the process of building a green home, but we also have plans for a green house (possibly 2), a small fish farm, chicken coop, a large compost box, walking paths, and relaxation area beside our creek! We plan to grow nearly everything we need to live, and so can you! This is still a work in progress, so there will be more to come!"

In the meantime, the family lives in a small apartment. They have taken great measures to reduce their footprint on the ecosystem. They were even able to plant a small victory garden on a second floor porch (10'x6'), large enough to provide for their family, and share over 2 dozen plants with the neighbors.
